Orthodontic forces must be monitored on a regular basis to ensure the highest quality of orthodontic care that we can provide.
We understand that everyone has important obligations throughout the day, and that your time is very valuable. Our goal is to allow you to be seen on time for your appointment, do all necessary scheduled treatments, and minimize interruptions to your busy schedule.
Routine adjustment appointments will vary from 15 - 45 minutes depending on procedures used during the visit. Longer appointments, to correct broken appliances or address an emergency are scheduled during school hours. If the schedule is heavy and there has been several emergencies during the day, we may be able to do only the routine adjustment and may have to schedule another appointment to do the longer adjustment or appliance repair.
Please make every effort to keep scheduled appointments. If an excessive number of appointments are missed or if we do not see you or your child for a long interval of time, treatment will be significantly extended. When an appointment must be rescheduled for any reason, we ask that you take the next available appointment to prevent treatment delays. We reschedule appointments on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you are unable to schedule an appointment that is convenient for you, we suggest you take the first available appointment and request that you be put on a waiting list for any cancellations. If there is an opening in the schedule, we will be happy to call you.
